DEDICATION AND SACRIFICE

Most teachers are hard-working professionals and feel the pressure to work long hours. Society expects teachers to sacrifice and overwork in the name of dedication. In many schools there is a pressure, an unspoken message, that working long hours and doing 'little' extras proves your commitment to students. While dedication in itself is a beautiful way of being, the problems lies in that there is no limit to the amount of work that needs to be done. The possibility of dedication becomes unlimited.

i. "Give 100% of your time to your class"

ii. " Keep a cute and immaculately clean classroom"

iii. " Accept the fact and do not complain about how little salaries are, and apologize for having summers off"

iv. " Pay for all cool classroom materials and buy things for your students"

v. "Do not complain: teaching is an 'easy' job"

vi. " Don't take personal days off because the kids are depending on you, and there's a shortage of sub"

vii. "Solve all student learning and behavior problems"

p/s: Sometimes people do not care about other people's feeling. Try to be a teacher, then tell us it is an easy job.
